While on vacation to his hometown, Izu Joseph the Shooting Stars Defender was hit by the stray bullet was confirmed dead after being rushed to the hospital. The news caused trouble among his team-mates who were crying profusely after hearing the bad news.The club then took to their official twitter page to announce the sad news and captioned it "A Shooting STAR is gone! Izu Joseph is gone! The flamboyant defender is gone! RIP, brother. What a life! May God strengthen his family #Tragedy” the Ibadan-based club wrote on their official twitter handle on Monday morning."
