Oba Of Lagos Finally Speaks On The Viral Video That Shows Him Snubbing Ooni Of Ife [Must See]

Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu has finally cleared the air on the viral video that showed him snubbing the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, at a public function in Lagos state earlier this week.

Oba Akiolu revealed his viral gesture was not meant to snub the Ooni as people think but rather it was the culturally acclaimed way of greeting a monarch in Lagos.
Oba Akiolu who had received so many brutal knocks on the issues speaks via one is white cap chief, Lateef Aderibigbe Ajose, who is the Opeluwa Onido of Lagos.
Lateef revealed Oba of Lagos didn't mean to ignore or snub the Ooni but only trying to revive the culture and tradition of ancient Lagos, which is peculiar to the State. He says, the Oba's gesture is the cultural manner at which Oba's greet in Lagos and that it signified: "inu mi, inu e", the culture of greeting in Lagos.
Lateef concluded saying, "There is no quarrel between the Oba of Lagos and Ooni of Ife."
