19-year-old Bukola Adeosun,who is the daughter of an APC councilor candidate, Mr. Bode Adeosun, have been kidnapped at Odi Olowo Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.
The girl who was said to have to buy fish for her mum with her younger sister around 9 p.m. on Tuesday was missing after her sister went in with the fish seller to collect the balance of their money but came out only to discover that her sis (Bukola) was nowhere to be seen.
Thinking her big sister had gone home without her, Bukola’s younger sister went home only for to find out that Bukola was not at home.
Her dad therefore asked members of the community to help him search for his daughter after he got a call from his wife that she was nowhere to be found. He got home from the meeting he attended and saw a crowd in his house as they were assisting his wife in the search for Bukola. They came back home about 1:39 a.m after they couldn't find her. He then received a phone call from a strange number, saying his daughter was in their custody adding that the caller said that he would hear from them again before hanging up and since then, he have not heard from them and don’t have an idea of what his daughter is going through now. He added that Bukola's birthday will be in four days time and it looks like this is how his political opponents want to get back at him as he knows they would lose in the coming election.
A resident of the area, Mr. Kunle Ajayi, said this is the first time they will hear about such is has never happened in the community and it has been reported to the Police. The state Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Olarinde Famous-Cole claimed that the girl was missing and not abducted but investigations is going on.
