The first ever gay Muslim wedding just took place in the UK, as Jahed Choudhury and Sean Rogan who have been dating for two years, wedded at Walsall registry office.
According Choudhury, they started dating after Sean met him crying on a bench in Darlaston and stood by him since then.



Although, being an openly-gay Muslim made him look like a ‘black sheep’ among his peers and family. It was also gathered that Choudhury's family were’t present at the event as 'it’s too embarrassing for them.' and some of his family members regarded his relationship with Sean as a ‘disease’ . Choudhury said him and his partner are going to show the whole world that you can be gay and Muslim.”
