I Wanted To Be Rich Like Evans... Bricklayer And Okada Man That Was Arrested During Attempted Kidnap Reveals

Just when we all thought the story notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeme Onwuamadike aka Evans had gone off the headlines after all the drama, a new one came on board after a 44-year-old father of seven named Mukaila Alatunse was arrested after he made plans to venture into kidnapping by starting with the only child (Precious) of his neighbor, Ogundiran who is a professor in the National Open University Of Nigeria(NOUN)...

Mukaila was said to have planned with a vigilante who boarded his bike after they had a discussion about how Evans was able to acquire billions of naira from kidnapping people, it was after this he made his evil plan to the vigilante who also showed interest in the act before going to the girl's father to reveal the secret to him. Prof. Ogundiran immediately went into action by reporting to the Police station and a team of detectives surrounded the hotel Mukaila and the vigilante were supposed to meet after the kidnap of the poor girl. 

They then asked the vigilante to call the Mukaila on phone, and tell him that the girl had been kidnapped. He agreed to come to the hotel so they could contact er dad for ransom. 

“While he was with the vigilante at the hotel, the team hanged around. The vigilante told him that the victim had been kept somewhere and that they should discuss about the ransom.

He said they would request N5m from the lecturer and that he(Mukaila) would take 60 per cent of the money while the vigilante would take 40 per cent. The detectives arrested him in the process. It was when they got to the station, Mukaila realised that it was all a set-up. He added that one of his two wives died recently and I donesn't have money to take care of the children she left behind and this is the first time he would attempt kidnapping so he is appealing for mercy.
