Mad Woman Gives Birth To Twins Without Help In Ondo State....Details

 Last Saturday,the 9th,a mentally deranged woman gave to a bouncing baby girl without anybody coming to help her along Ikoya-Okitipupa road.The news of protecting her life and that of the new baby got to the Chairman of the area,Morenikeji Alaka who attended a function with the First Lady,Arabirin Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu in lagos that same day.
The first lady rushed back to Ondo the next day to see to the well being of the baby and her mother.The concerned first lady sent officials of Community Dept., Environmental Officers, Medical personnel and security officers to the scene.

 On arriving there,the sick woman did not allow anyone get close to her and threatened to kill the baby if anyone did.She revealed that she gave birth to twins but soeone had collected one of the pair from her.Ten hours passed before three teams of social workers, medical staff, and police could take the baby away from her afterwards they took her to the General hospital in Okitipupa.The Ministry for Women Affairs in Ondo led by the commissioner,Hon  Omowumi Olatunji-Edet delegated a group of people to monitor the mother who was at the psychiatric hospital and the child's well being

.A naming ceremony was done on the 10th of Sept,and the baby was named Betty,after the first lady,Akeredolu,after the governor ,Morenikeji after the chairman.
