Surgeons in Louisiana have successfully conducted an operation on Melyssa,a Brazilian 3-yr-old after being diagnosed with a tumour weighing 5 pounds.The ailment was making life so unbearable for the little girl as it was pushing her tongue to the back of her throat.Her desperate parents had to reach out for help on social media and help eventually came from one Dr. Celso Palmieri Jnr.
A month later,Melyssa arrived in the Us for the surgery and last year in December,a surgery of eight hours was carried out on the girl and it was successful. Melyssa was able to regain the use of her tongue and her breathing was back to normal. After-surgery photo of the girl below......
