Ace Nollywood actor,Jide Kosoko has featured in quite a large number of movies acting since he was a child and he revealed that it wasn't an easy journey as he had to first receive his parent's blessings .
In an interview with Channels Television's Rubbin' Minds,Jide revealed that both parents did not approve his stay into the movie world being a child and his mother even flogged him so much after his first performance.He said;“Back then, no parent wanted their child to come into this (Entertainment Industry). Especially my father will tell me, “Jide you are a royal Prince of Lagos, you should not be entertaining people, in fact, people should be entertaining you.“My mother was a bit on the aggressive side, she doesn’t take it easy with me at all but I was able to maneuver"
