Moyo Lawal took on a challenging role in a new film and took to her Instagram handle to share her set experience.
However, they changed her appearance to fit the movie and provide a good interpretation of her character.
Moyo admitted that playing someone else for the camera is her guilty pleasure and that it makes her happy.
She wrote:
"Becoming someone else for the screen is my guilty pleasure … then becoming someone completely *off* makes me even happier…. …. If you ever saw my earlier catalog ( you will see lots of exaggeration such as brows , dressing ,speech etc ) … … but then I realized that people didn’t want to accept I was acting… … …. ….. … … Then , I will see comments like ooh , so she can look nice, she can dress up well , she even speaks well (like ) etc so I stopped !! Since it is like you people don’t want to understand that it is “Acting “
However this year , I decided to experiment again …. And I totally loved it … Becoming ** Feturi *** with the teeth was super difficult and I had a lot of cuts but totally worth it… ..
***Life is good ** (is the name of the film ooh ) by @somethingunusualstudios is coming soon and I can’t wait to see the beautiful *ugliness* that @i_am_nodash created , come alive on screen… @mamaawero was also in this and omo , age has nothing on great acting skills yoo Legend!!"
