Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has responded after his colleague, Motilola Akinlami, accused him of blocking her from getting acting jobs in the film industry.
Motilola, in an emotional post on Instagram, said Afod had been stopping producers from hiring her because she no longer wanted to be friends with him. She also claimed his wife once defamed her online and that this problem has been going on for five years. She mentioned that even Femi Adebayo stopped visiting her set because of Kunle Afod’s influence.
According to Motilola:
"Afod tells producers not to use me. He has been waiting to see my RIP for five years. He’s been stopping me from getting big movie roles. I just want him to leave me and my career alone."
In response, Kunle Afod denied the allegations during an interview. He said:
“Is it even possible for one person to stop others from working with someone in this industry? I’m not the one paying them. I don’t have enemies, except those fighting me.”
