Priscilla Ojo Exposes Those Responsible for the Fire That Gutted Her Mother Iyabo Ojo’s Office

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, has responded to the recent fire incident that destroyed her mother’s office, revealing disturbing details about threats they had received before the incident.

On Tuesday, July 8, 2025, Iyabo Ojo’s office was engulfed in flames around 7 p.m., an event she described as a test of faith, but one that ended with gratitude as no lives were lost. She thanked the Nigerian Fire Service and her dedicated staff for their swift intervention and expressed confidence that with God’s help, she would bounce back bigger and better.

Now, Priscilla has taken to social media to confirm that the fire might not have been an accident. In a lengthy post, she revealed that on May 24, a threatening letter was delivered to Iyabo Ojo’s office — the same building that caught fire. The letter, allegedly sent by a group referred to as an "Aggrieved Group," threatened her marriage, vowing to “destroy” her joy and disrupt the union.

“You put someone in trouble and you're out enjoying, giving your daughter in marriage, abi? You can't escape. In the next 3 months, we are monitoring you,” part of the letter read.

According to Priscilla, her mother did not see the letter until she returned from Tanzania, where she had traveled to attend Priscilla’s wedding. She now believes the fire was the group’s Plan B, following their failed attempt to ruin her wedding, known online as #JP2025.

“So much has been happening that I can’t even talk about here, but I just want to put it out here. You can’t silence my mother with all of this threat and criminal acts. God is stronger than any evil, and time will surely tell!!” she stated.

Priscilla added that more CCTV cameras have now been installed both at home and in her mother's office, and vowed to work with authorities to uncover the face behind the threat letter and bring them to justice.

The post has sparked widespread concern and sympathy, with fans and fellow celebrities flooding the comment section to show support and offer prayers for the safety of the Ojo family.

The incident has left many Nigerians questioning the motive behind the threats, and hoping for a thorough investigation into what’s now being seen as a potentially targeted attack.
