Actor Aina Gold Praises Taiwo Hassan as His “Small God” and Speaks on Mide Martins’ Attitude Toward Him

Nollywood Yoruba actor Aina Gold has opened up about his strong relationship with veteran actor Taiwo Hassan (Ogogo) and actress Mide Martins.

In a recent interview, Aina Gold described Taiwo Hassan as his “small god” in the movie industry. He recalled how the veteran actor picked, trained, and supported him despite his stature and height. According to him, Ogogo never worried that training him might reduce his own chances in the industry. Instead, he raised him with love and care.

“He picked me, trained me, and brought me up despite my stature and height. He never thought people would abandon him for me. Ogogo is such a good man, and I can never reject his calls. Alhaji Taiwo is my small god in the industry,” he said.

Speaking about his bond with Mide Martins, Aina Gold revealed that their friendship grew through her husband, Afeez Owo, whom he described as a brother and boss. He noted that Mide is free-spirited, cheerful, and fun to work with, which makes their chemistry very strong.

“There are many things I love about Mide Martins. We are very close, and I’ve had the opportunity to work with her and her husband a lot. She’s free-minded and cheerful; you can’t help but like her,” he added.
