Chioma Adeleke, wife of Nigerian music star Davido, has made her long-awaited return to social media after almost three years. Her comeback comes just days after the couple’s lavish white wedding held on August 10, 2025, in Miami, USA, which was graced by top celebrities and dignitaries.
Recall that the couple earlier hosted their traditional wedding in June 2025 at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Chioma’s last Instagram post was on October 20, 2022, when she celebrated her son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, on his third birthday. Sadly, Ifeanyi passed away on October 31, 2022, after drowning in the swimming pool at Davido’s Banana Island residence in Lagos while his parents were away.
In the early hours of August 21, 2025, Chioma returned to Instagram with an emotional post. She proudly flaunted her dazzling diamond wedding ring and revealed that the cufflinks she wore on her wedding day bore the face of her late son as a special remembrance.
Sharing a heartfelt tribute to Ifeanyi, she wrote:
“My best friend walked me into forever…. Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, mummy. ❤️”
Her words reflected the deep and enduring bond she still shares with her late son.
