💔 “Dangote Offered Us ₦20m for My Sister’s Life” – Phyna Breaks Down After Burial

Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has finally spoken after the burial of her younger sister, Ruth Otabor, who sadly passed away weeks after being hit by a Dangote truck in Auchi, Edo State.

In a recent Instagram live session, Phyna opened up about the heartbreaking incident, accusing the Dangote Group of negligence, manipulation, and focusing more on saving their image than fighting for justice.

The Accident & Quick Release of the Driver

According to Phyna, her sister was hit on August 11. Just two days later, on August 13, representatives of the company allegedly secured the release of the truck and the 19-year-old driver, whom she claimed had no license. Phyna described this as her biggest problem, questioning why things moved so fast.

The N20 Million Offer

Phyna expressed anger over discussions of compensation, saying Dangote allegedly offered ₦20 million — an amount she described as “insulting.”
She argued that the figure did not reflect her sister’s worth, given her years of education and the life she was building.

“If I calculate wetin my sister don chop from baby class to Auchi Poly where she finished, wetin be 20 million naira? Who made that negotiation?” she asked emotionally.

Suspicion About Medical Care

The reality star also questioned the medical attention her sister received, hinting that delays may not have been accidental. She claimed the company may have influenced her sister’s treatment to avoid expensive bills.

Financial Burden After Death

Phyna lamented that even after Ruth’s passing, her family had to cover heavy mortuary bills without meaningful support. She revealed she demanded Dangote pay for the release of her sister’s body, but the response was not straightforward.

Phyna’s Final Words

The outspoken BBNaija star vowed not to stay silent, warning that she will continue to push for justice.

“Dangote, I don’t do online ranting. But I won’t allow this to go like that. You get money o, but you will feel it. My sister’s life cannot just go like that.”

💔 This emotional revelation has sparked fresh conversations online about corporate accountability, road safety, and how victims’ families are treated after tragedies.
