Nigerian content creator and comedian Woli Arole has shared a strong message on social media, cautioning people against the popular saying, “I prefer to cry in a Lamborghini than smile in a Marwa.”
Reacting to the ongoing marital drama involving actress Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, Woli Arole described the statement as “useless” and misleading.
In his post, he advised the public to avoid repeating such phrases, warning that not all forms of wealth guarantee happiness. He added that while people may think crying in luxury is better, some emotional pains can last a lifetime, regardless of riches.
Quoting his words, he said:
“I prefer to cry in a Lamborghini than smile in a Marwa? It’s a useless statement. Don’t say it with people ooo! Your cry in a Lambo can be for a lifetime. Think twice!”
