Lagos State has appointed popular influencer Mandykiss as the new brand ambassador for LASKADA’s anti-drug initiative.
With over 400,000 social media followers, Mandykiss is expected to use her influence to spread awareness and educate young people about the dangers of drug abuse.
Speaking at the announcement, officials explained that government alone cannot solve the drug abuse problem. They believe that working with influencers like Mandykiss will help carry the message to every corner of Lagos.
A spokesperson added, “No one is without a past, and nobody is perfect. But with the reach Mandykiss has, we hope she can help us in the fight against drug abuse.”
As ambassador, Mandykiss will attend public events, join school and community programmes, and run social media campaigns against drug use.
The initiative shows Lagos State’s commitment to public health by combining government action, community support, and influencer advocacy for greater impact.
