Nigerian music legend 2Face Idibia has opened up about his iconic hit song, ‘African Queen’, revealing that it has been both a blessing and a problem in his life. Released in 2004, the track played a major role in bringing him international recognition and boosting his music career.
Speaking in an interview with an entertainment and lifestyle show, 2Face said the song has been a huge blessing for him. However, he added that the fame and attention it brought also created some challenges.
He said, “African Queen has been a very huge blessing, and e come turn to problem join for me. But I am grateful for everything.”
The hit single remains one of the most memorable tracks in Afrobeat history, loved both in Nigeria and internationally.
