Amid the ongoing drama surrounding Nollywood actress Regina Daniels and her family, online personality VeryDarkMan (VDM) has revealed that he personally contacted Senator Ned Nwoko to prevent the alleged arrest of Regina’s mother.In a video shared online, VDM recounted how he called the senator and was surprised when Nwoko answered the phone. Introducing himself, VDM said, “I called Sen Ned, and I didn’t even know he would pick up, but he answered. I introduced myself as VeryDarkMan, and he said he recognized me.”
VDM explained that he raised concerns about reports suggesting that Regina’s mother was under threat of arrest. According to him, Nwoko told him that the issue arose because Regina’s mother had posted online claiming that his son had died in the UK due to drug abuse, whereas he actually passed away from cardiac arrest, as confirmed by an autopsy. Nwoko reportedly wanted her to clarify her statement.
VDM said he appealed to the senator to reconsider the matter. Following their conversation, Nwoko agreed not to proceed with the arrest, assuring that Regina’s mother would be safe.
This intervention comes amid heightened tensions following the arrest and remand of Regina Daniels’ brother, Sammy West, which has raised fears for the safety of other family members.
