Nollywood actress Mide Martins is overjoyed as her goddaughter, Yetunde Barnabas, has welcomed her second child, a baby boy. Yetunde shared photos of herself, her husband, and their newborn, announcing the arrival of their “miracle.”
Mide Martins celebrated the news with heartfelt joy, posting on social media:
“Congrats to me and my family, as we welcome a new bundle of love and joy. Thank you, Baba Mi onibu ore… Congratulations, my goddaughter Yetunde Barnabas, on the arrival of your jewel of inestimable value. I am extremely happy! My heart is filled with so much happiness. I can’t stop singing and dancing!”
Mide and her husband, Afeez Owo, share a close bond with Yetunde, who frequently appears in their movies. They were present at Yetunde’s lavish 2021 wedding to her footballer husband, where Mide proudly declared herself and Afeez as Baba and Mama Iyawo.
Mide first became a grandmother when Yetunde welcomed her first child, a baby girl, in 2022. Over the years, Mide has showered Yetunde with blessings, birthday messages, and prayers for her family’s happiness.
Yetunde, who celebrated her fourth wedding anniversary in June, continues to share her journey of love and commitment with her husband. Earlier in April, she addressed rumours about expecting a second child, emphasizing that “God’s time is the best.”
