Chioma Adeleke, wife of Grammy-nominated artist Davido, has shared her excitement following her husband’s Grammy Award nomination for Best African Music Performance for his hit song “With You” featuring Omah Lay.
The 2026 Grammy nominations, released Friday night, included several Nigerian stars such as Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Wizkid, and Omah Lay. Other nominees in Davido’s category are Burna Boy with “Love” and Ayra Starr featuring Wizkid with “Gimme Dat.”

This isn’t the first time Chioma has publicly expressed her admiration for Davido. Recently, she reacted warmly when he commissioned a hostel in honor of his late mother and when he was announced to headline Coachella 2026, sharing screenshots with crying and fire emojis.
Chioma has also shared sweet memories from their high-profile Miami wedding on August 10, 2025, expressing disbelief that it has been just one month since they tied the knot. During their ceremony, Chioma described Davido as her love, best friend, and calm in her storm, promising to hold his hand forever. Davido, in turn, praised Chioma for seeing the real him, being a good stepmom to his other children, and credited her with being a source of support and healing in his life.
