Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has responded to Nigerians mocking her amid her reported marital crisis with billionaire husband Ned Nwoko.
In a video shared on her social media page, the actress addressed critics who said she used to flaunt her husband’s wealth online but is now facing tough times alone.
Speaking emotionally, Regina said it is normal for people to laugh at her situation but reminded them that no one ever shows their pain publicly.
“As long as you were never in my shoes, you will never understand,” she said. “What were you guys expecting me to show off? That I was being beaten? That I was sad?”
The actress, visibly upset, added that people only celebrate happiness online because showing sadness invites mockery. In the clip, she also jokingly threatened to break her phone, showing her frustration with the ongoing drama.
The video has since gone viral, with fans sharing mixed reactions—some expressing sympathy for her, while others urged her to stay strong and protect her peace.
