Accord Party Clears Governor Adeleke as Sole Aspirant for Osun Governorship Primary

The Accord Party’s screening committee has officially screened and cleared Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke ahead of the party’s governorship primary taking place today in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

Elder Ibe Thankgod, the committee chairman and National Organising Secretary of the party, announced that Governor Adeleke successfully met all the necessary requirements for nomination and participation in the primary. He confirmed that the governor has been cleared as the sole aspirant for the party’s governorship ticket, and all needed documents have been completed with the appropriate bodies.

During the event, Elder Thankgod presented a Certificate of Clearance to Governor Adeleke, praising him as a credible and deserving candidate for the party.

In his response, Governor Adeleke thanked the committee and the party’s leadership for their support. He said he is fully prepared for both the primary election and the 2026 general election.

“I am ready for the primary, and I am ready for the general elections. We are winning by God’s grace,” he stated confidently.

Other committee members present at the screening included Abdurahaman Muhammed, Abdulahi Sani Muhammed, and Mrs. Awogbade Rachael.
