The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to hold their first training session in Rabat on Monday night as preparations intensify for their next match in the tournament.
The players and coaching crew are expected to arrive in Rabat from Fès this afternoon. The team will be staying at the Rihab Hotel during their time in the city. Their training session will take place behind closed doors at the Complexe Mohammed VI and is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm local time.
The Nigerian team returned to Fès on Sunday after recording an impressive 2–0 victory over Algeria’s Desert Foxes in the quarter-final match played in Marrakech. The win secured Nigeria’s place in the semi-finals.
According to reports, the media will be allowed to watch the Super Eagles’ final training session before their crucial semi-final clash against tournament hosts, Morocco.
The highly anticipated match against Morocco will be played on Wednesday at the Prince Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat. Kick-off is set for 9:00 pm Nigerian time.
