Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has expressed gratitude and excitement following her inauguration as an executive member of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).
The Yoruba actress was reported last year to be contesting for the position of Vice President of the South West zone of the AGN. During her campaign, she highlighted her achievements while serving as Vice Chairman of the AGN Lagos State chapter, noting that her major goal was to create opportunities, lay solid foundations, and pave the way for others in the industry.
In a recent update, Dayo Amusa was elected as the AGN Vice President. She announced the achievement on her Instagram page by sharing a photo of her certificate. The mother of one also posted a video from the inauguration ceremony, alongside a heartfelt message to the public.
In her message, Dayo thanked her supporters for standing by her and expressed optimism about the journey ahead. She said she looks forward to working together with stakeholders to move the Actors Guild of Nigeria forward.
