Nollywood actor and filmmaker Ibrahim Yekini, popularly known as Itele, has taken to social media to celebrate a major milestone after his movie Koleoso surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.


Sharing the news on his Instagram page, the actor described the achievement as historic, stating that Koleoso is officially the first Nollywood movie and the first African film released as a single title to hit over 100 million views on YouTube.


In his emotional and celebratory post, Itele proudly declared himself the first to achieve such a feat in the history of Nollywood, urging the public not to downplay the significance of the moment.


“HISTORY. RECORD. LEGACY.

KOLEOSO HITS 100 MILLION+ VIEWS IN TOTAL.

Officially, the FIRST Nollywood title and the FIRST African movie title to hit this milestone on YouTube as ONE TITLE,” he wrote.


The actor attributed the success to hard work, consistency, and creativity, noting that the journey started from day zero with belief and determination.


“Let this be known that I, Ibrahim Yekini Bakare (Iteledicon), am the FIRST to pull this stunt in the history of Nollywood. Do not deny me my flower,” he added.
