Bola Are Visits Family of Late Taiwo Adegbodu to Offer Condolences

Veteran gospel singer and evangelist Bola Are has paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Taiwo Adegbodu, one half of the popular gospel duo known as the Adegbodu Twins.

The visit took place at the Adegbodu family residence a few days after the sad news of Taiwo’s death became public. The late singer’s twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, had earlier announced the heartbreaking loss on social media, sharing an emotional message about his grief.

In a video circulating online, Bola Are arrived at the family home with members of her team to comfort the grieving family. During the visit, Kehinde Adegbodu showed deep respect by prostrating before the veteran singer, a traditional gesture of honour in Yoruba culture.

Bola Are then warmly embraced him while visibly emotional. She offered comforting words, telling him “Iwo lo ye,” a Yoruba phrase which means “It is only you who understands God.”

The touching moment between the veteran gospel singer and the bereaved twin brother provided a brief moment of comfort and support for the family during their difficult time.
