Nollywood actor Nwaogu Udochukwu Victor, popularly known as Nkubi, has surprised his wife with flowers following criticism over his earlier remarks about romance.
Days ago, Nkubi stated in an interview that he had never bought his wife flowers because it was not an African tradition. According to him, “As Africans, we don’t do flowers.” His comment sparked backlash online, with many social media users criticizing his view.

After facing pressure from netizens, the actor eventually bought his wife a bouquet of natural flowers. She shared the moment on her Instagram page, expressing joy and referring to him as her “lovely husband.”
“Udochukwu, my lovely husband, has finally bought me natural flowers,” she wrote.
Nkubi also penned a sweet note to his wife, comparing her beauty to the flowers. “To my adorable wife, you are as beautiful as these flowers,” he wrote.
