“I Still Have Goosebumps” — Mo Bimpe Reacts to Husband Lateef Adedimeji’s Emotional AMVCA Speech

Nollywood actress Mo Bimpe has reacted emotionally to the heartfelt speech delivered by her husband, Lateef Adedimeji, during the 12th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards.


At the award ceremony held on Saturday, Lateef Adedimeji’s movie Lisabi won two major awards, including Best Indigenous Language Film (West Africa) and Best Makeup. While receiving one of the awards on stage, the actor dedicated the achievement to his wife, praising her as the mother of his three children and appreciating her support throughout the project.


Reacting through her Instagram page, Mo Bimpe said she was deeply touched by her husband’s speech and admitted that she still had goosebumps from the emotional moment. She thanked him for publicly honouring and celebrating her during such an important occasion.



The actress revealed that she has remained speechless over the love and support they have received in recent weeks. According to her, the celebration surrounding their “kings,” the overwhelming affection from fans, and the success of their movie project have all been emotional and unforgettable experiences.


Speaking about the Lisabi project, Mo Bimpe described it as a major production that demanded a lot from her personally. She explained that it was her first time working on such a large-scale project alongside her husband, and the recognition from the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards proved that hard work and courage eventually pay off.


She also appreciated everyone who contributed to the success of the movie, including filmmaker Niyi Akinmolayan, the cast, and the production crew. According to her, the victory belongs to everyone who played a role in bringing the project to life.


The actress further thanked the organisers of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards for recognising their efforts and promised that they would continue working harder on future projects.


Ending her message with a touching note to her husband, Mo Bimpe described Lateef Adedimeji as her partner, husband, and the father of her children. She expressed appreciation for everything he has done and declared that her love for him continues to grow stronger every day.
