Nigerian music star Davido has taken to social media to express frustration after his travel plans were disrupted due to global challenges affecting fuel availability.
In a post shared on Monday, May 4, the singer revealed that ongoing conflicts in different parts of the world affected his ability to secure jet fuel for his flight. He explained that the situation forced him to cancel and reschedule his plans.
According to him, “The world happened to me yesterday… These wars around the world have really started penetrating. Finding fuel was a problem yesterday to even fly… everything had to be rescheduled.”
Davido also apologised to fans who were expecting his appearance at an event, assuring them that he would make it up to them despite the inconvenience caused.
His message has since drawn reactions online, with fans sympathising with him over the unexpected disruption.
