A video from the Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) in Abuja has gone viral on social media after Nigeria's First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, represented President Bola Tinubu in presenting a symbolic gift to the General Superintendent of Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor W.F. Kumuyi.
In the widely shared video, a young male representative presented a large ceremonial Bible to Pastor Kumuyi on behalf of the President and the First Lady. While making the presentation, he explained the meaning behind the gift, saying the First Lady believed that although she did not have silver or gold to offer, she was presenting the Word of God, which Pastor Kumuyi has faithfully preached over the years.
According to the representative, the First Lady instructed him to deliver the symbolic Bible to the respected cleric on behalf of President Bola Tinubu as a sign of appreciation for his ministry and spiritual leadership.
During the event, the representative also offered praises to God, describing Him as the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, and the everlasting source of hope, joy, and salvation. His remarks added a solemn and worshipful atmosphere to the gathering.
The crusade also recognised former Nigerian Head of State, General Yakubu Gowon, who attended the programme alongside other distinguished guests.
Pastor Kumuyi received glowing tributes during the event and was described as "the John Wesley of our generation," in recognition of his impact on Christian ministry and evangelism.
The representative further stated that President Bola Tinubu and First Lady Remi Tinubu hold Pastor Kumuyi in high regard. He said they deeply appreciate his ministry, influence, and commitment to spreading the Gospel, adding that his presence and crusade had brought peace, hope, and spiritual revival to Abuja and the nation.
The video has continued to generate reactions online, with many Nigerians sharing their opinions about the symbolic presentation and the recognition given to the respected Christian leader during the Global Crusade with Kumuyi.
