Actress Bimbo Adebayo Publicly Appeals to Itele for Peace After Nearly a Year of Silence

Nollywood actress Bimbo Adebayo has publicly reached out to her colleague, actor Ibrahim “Itele”, asking him to let go of their differences and embrace peace.

In an emotional social media post, Bimbo revealed that there had been almost a year of silence between them following an undisclosed disagreement. She admitted that she had been deeply hurt by what happened but said she had reached a point where she no longer wanted to hold on to the pain.

The actress explained that although she is known by people close to her as someone who does not easily back down, she had come to understand that some battles are not worth winning, especially when peace is at stake.

According to Bimbo, she decided to put her pride aside because Itele is not only her senior colleague but also someone she considers a brother and friend. Despite whatever may have happened between them, she said she continues to respect him.

She publicly apologised to Itele, asking him to forgive her if anything she said, did or how she reacted during the disagreement had hurt him.

Bimbo stressed that her public apology was not made because anyone asked her to do so. Rather, she said she made the decision herself after reflecting deeply on the situation and realising that life is too short and tomorrow is not guaranteed.

She also appealed to members of the public who saw her message to pray for peace between them, saying that sometimes being the bigger person means choosing peace instead of chaos.

Bimbo concluded her message by expressing hope that her words would reach Itele’s heart and help bring an end to their prolonged silence.

Itele Responds, Says There Are No Hard Feelings

Responding to Bimbo’s heartfelt message, Itele appeared to accept her apology and dismissed any lingering tension between them.

The actor described the issue as a misunderstanding, assuring Bimbo that there were no hard feelings on his part.

He wrote:

“It’s all gone, my sister. It’s not that deep, it was just a misunderstanding. No hard feelings at all. Let’s leave it all in the past and move forward in peace. May God forgive us all.”

Itele’s response suggests that both actors are now willing to put the disagreement behind them and move forward peacefully.

The exchange has since highlighted the importance of forgiveness, humility and reconciliation, with Bimbo’s decision to publicly seek peace and Itele’s forgiving response marking what appears to be a positive step toward restoring their relationship.
