The founder and General Overseer of Rock Word Church and Dominion International, Adamson Aromaegbe, has reportedly passed away.
Aromaegbe, a Port Harcourt-based gospel preacher and church leader, died on Friday, August 21, although news of his passing was not made public until Sunday, August 23.
His death was confirmed by the church leadership in a statement issued on Sunday by Rev. Nnamdy Echezona and shared on the ministry’s official Facebook page.
Following the announcement, the church appealed to members, friends and well-wishers to remember the late preacher’s family in their prayers. The leadership also asked for prayers for the church and the wider Dominion International family as they come to terms with the loss.
The church further stated that details regarding the late cleric’s “Celebration of Life” would be announced in due course.
The passing of Adamson Aromaegbe has left members of his congregation and the wider Christian community mourning the loss of a preacher who played a significant role in the ministry he founded.
