Sunday Afolabi Pays Emotional Tribute at Late Taiwo Hassan ‘Ogogo’s Graveside

Nollywood actor Sunday Afolabi has paid an emotional tribute to his late colleague, veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, following his death.

Afolabi was seen visiting Ogogo’s graveside, where he reflected on the painful loss of the veteran actor, who reportedly died after battling stage-four cancer.

In a video circulating online, the actor expressed deep sadness over Ogogo’s passing, describing him as a tall, handsome, and attractive man who was admired by many women. According to Afolabi, the late actor was someone many women wished to have as a husband or lover, making his death even more heartbreaking for those who knew and admired him.

Afolabi lamented that despite the prayers, love, and support offered for Ogogo during his battle with cancer, death eventually took him away. He emotionally stated that if it were possible to bribe death with money, rams, or any other valuable possession, they would have given everything they had to keep the veteran actor alive.

“Death took you away. A tall, handsome man whom many women admired and wished to have as a husband or lover. If death could be bribed with money or rams, we would have given everything to keep you alive. Black and shining, despite all our prayers for you,” he said.

The emotional visit has further highlighted the grief surrounding Ogogo’s passing, as colleagues, fans, and loved ones continue to mourn the veteran actor and reflect on the memories he left behind.
