“I Wish You Had Met My Second Child” – Ogogo’s Daughter Mourns Him

Kira Taiwo, the daughter of late Nollywood actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, has once again poured out her heart in an emotional tribute to her late father.

Taking to her Instagram page, Kira expressed the painful reality of losing her father, admitting that she is still struggling to come to terms with the fact that she can no longer see or embrace him.

Describing her father as the best, Kira revealed that the thought of never being able to receive another hug from him has left her heartbroken.

“My daddy. THE BEST. I can’t even get a hug anymore… This is what heartbreak means, mehn.”

Kira also reflected on one of her biggest regrets following her father’s passing. According to her, she had wished for more time with him, especially because she wanted him to meet her unborn second child.

She expressed sadness that the veteran actor did not live long enough to meet the newest member of their family.

“I love you, Daddy, but I just wanted more time, more time, more timeeee to meet my second baby. Thank you ooo TAIYE.”

Her latest emotional message comes just days after she shared a touching conversation she had with her father before his death.

In the exchange, which was dated July 26, the late actor reportedly encouraged his daughter to remain strong and stop crying. He explained that seeing his children happy and smiling gave him strength, while their tears made him sad.

“How are you? I heard you are crying. Seeing you and your sisters smile is making me strong. If you cry, it will make me sad, and I will start to think.”

He further reassured her of his strength and affectionately urged her not to cry.

“Be strong. I am strong… don’t cry, my princess.”

The emotional messages have made Kira’s latest tribute even more heartbreaking, as they offer a glimpse into the close relationship she shared with her father during his final days.

Taiwo Hassan passed away on August 23 at the age of 66 after a battle with stage-four cancer. Since his death, his family, colleagues and fans have continued to mourn the veteran actor and celebrate the legacy he left behind.

Kira’s latest tribute is yet another painful reminder of the deep bond between a father and daughter, as she continues to grieve while wishing she had just a little more time with the man she described as “the best.”
