Nollywood actor Temi Solade has addressed what he described as a common misconception about his approach to meeting people who want to see him.
Speaking during an interview with Feel Right News TV, the actor explained that he prefers people who want to meet him—regardless of their gender—to come to the hotel where he is staying.
According to Solade, this arrangement is simply a matter of convenience and does not carry any romantic or sexual intention.
However, he noted that some women tend to misinterpret his invitation when he asks them to meet him at his hotel. He said some of them assume that he is inviting them to the hotel because he wants to have sex with them.
Solade said:
“Whether you’re a man or you’re a woman, if you want to see me, I’ll tell you to come and meet me in the hotel I’m staying in. And whenever I say that to women, they think I want to sleep with them.”
His comments have drawn attention to the way seemingly ordinary invitations can sometimes be misunderstood, particularly when meetings take place in private or unfamiliar settings.
