“Someone Saw a Revelation That I Would Be a Great Man, but First, a Calamity Would Befall Me” – Baba Ijesha Reveals Prophecy About His Life

Controversial Nollywood actor Baba Ijesha has opened up about a revelation he said was made about his life before he was imprisoned.

The actor made the disclosure during a courtesy visit to Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho at his residence, where he reflected on a prophecy he claimed was revealed about his future.

According to Baba Ijesha, someone had told him before his imprisonment that he would eventually become a great man, but that he would first experience a major calamity that would cause him to shed many tears.

He explained that the revelation came before he went to prison and that the difficult experience later happened.

In his words, “Before I went to prison, someone saw a revelation about me that I’ll be a great man, but a huge calamity will befall me that’ll make me shed lots of tears before the prophecy will eventually come to pass. It was after that I went to prison.”

The actor appeared to connect his imprisonment to the calamity mentioned in the revelation, describing it as a painful chapter that preceded what he believes could eventually become a period of greatness.

Baba Ijesha did not provide further details about the person who gave the revelation or explain what he believes the prophecy means for his future.

His comments have sparked interest among fans and followers, particularly because they come as he reflects on his experiences after his highly publicised legal troubles and imprisonment.
