Update On Mercy Aigbe's Marriage Saga; The Actress Has Reported Her Husband's Assualt To Gov. Ambode

Despite moves by friends, family, colleagues, associates to settle the dispute between Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe and wealthy husband, Mr. Lanre Gentry who battered her last week after coming home late from a movie location, the star actress has now reported the assault to the Lagos State Ministry of Women Affairs for justice.

A top official in the human rights activist ministry set up by Governor Ambode, Esther Ijewere, who was the first to render help to the actress, stressed that there is no justification for domestic violence.
The actress had tried to mend the cracks in her marriage since last year but was said to be physically abused by her domestic violence husband recently and is receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Lagos. Although she's said to travel abroad for further treatment after suffering brain fracture from her husband's beating.
