The Nigerian movie industry is once again plunged into grief with the sad news of the passing of veteran Yoruba actor Ganiyu Oyeyemi, popularly known as Ogunjimi, which emerged on social media on Friday.
The death of Ogunjimi was confirmed by fellow Yoruba actor Kunle Afod, who shared the news on his Instagram page. Mourning the loss, Afod expressed condolences and wrote, "We tried our best but God loves you more. May his soul rest in peace. Baba Ogunjimi, RIP, Sun re oooo."
As of now, the cause of Ogunjimi's death remains undisclosed, leaving many in the industry and his fans in mourning and speculation.
