With Akpororo's recent successful project of building a multi-million mansion,we take a look at how it all started for the Warri boy.
Akpororo was born jephthah Bowoto in the sub-urban area of Warri,Delta state but he is originally from Ilaje,Ondo state.His career life started as a gospel artiste until 2008 when he came to Lagos and joined the AY Open Mic challenge twice,coming second in his first and emerging as winner the second time.He then burst into the spotlight after his performance at Basketmouth's Laff and Jam show before he went on to perform at several AY live concerts and since then the name Akpororo has never stopped soaring high.
He began his own major show Akpororo vs Akpororo in 2014 at the Shell Muson center and has always been shutting down Muson center with his show year in,year out.Known for his energetic style of comedy,dancing and ability to interpret the role of an insane man,Akpororo was able to feature as a mad patient in the movie Head Gone and it got him nominated in 2016's edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards as the Best Actor Comedy including many other awards won.Akpororo married Josephine Abraham on the 14th of November,2015 and their union is blessed with a child which Akpororo dedicated his new mansion to on her birthday.
