    Let white glass be "x", red glass be "y" and blue glass be "z"...
    Then,

    1) X+X+X = 24
    »» 3X = 24
    Then X = 8........... (i)

    2) Y + X = 25
    »» Y + 8 = 25
    Then Y = 25 - 8
    »» Y = 17.............(ii)

    3) Y - Z = 11
    »» 17 - Z = 11
    -Z = 11 - 17
    -Z = -6
    Then Z = 6............(iii) (applying the rule of cancellation of same sign on either side).

    Finally,
    X + Z + Y = ?
    8 + 6 + 17 = 31... Q.E.D
