Shocking..! Bishop & Bank Manager Allegedly Arrested Over N11.4BN Fraud

The Managing Director of Dadin Kowa Microfinance Bank Ltd, Mr Irmiya Jatau and Bishop of Marantha Church, Bishop Jonas Katung have both been allegedly arrested over N11.4BN fraud. They were both accused of 24 counts before Justin Musa kurya.
The EFCC said the accused defraud almost 64,000 customers of the Cooperative Society of the sum of N11.4BN

They were charged of money laundering, in section 18 of the constitution Act 2011. When the charges were read them(Bishop & MD) they pleaded not guilty, except the Bishop Katung who pleaded guilty to one of the charges. The case has been adjourned till March 7 for further hearing though the Bishop has been granted an undisclosed bail application.
