OMG..! Medical Students To Spend Outrageous 11 Years In University Henceforth Confirms- NUC

The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission has recently announced that students studying Medicine and Surgery in Nigeria Universities will spend nothing less than 11 Years before getting their Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS degree). The secretary made the declaration at a maiden inauguration of the University of Medical Science, Ondo state.

The commission said this will be unable students more time to study and also gives adequate medical training before they venture into becoming a medical practitioner. But i think the 11 years is just too much while other colleagues of their that gained admission together has long graduated they would still be in school studying and not even guaranteed work at a medical firm yet. We hope the Government looks into this anyway. What do you think about this?
