Brazilian Authorities Denies Nigerian Couple Right To Name Their New Child A Yoruba Name

Brazilian authorities have recently denied a Nigerian couple living in Brazil the right to name their new born baby a Yoruba name. The authorities says the name doesn't mean anything in Portuguese the official language of Brazil. The Nigerian couple named Cizinho Afreeka and wife Juliana had wanted to named their baby "Foluke".

Despite the explanation of the Brazilian authorities Cizinho still thinks they declined the name all because of racism. But the authorities released a statement saying it's no form of racism, the name doesn't has any meaning in Portuguese so its might affect the child in the nearest future. But the couples have decided to named the child without any form of registration.
