The man identified as Joe Fortemose Chinakwe, who lives at No 10, Omikunle Street, Sango-Ota, Ogun State, was reportedly arrested this past weekend, after his neighbor who's a Notherner complained bitterly that her named the dog after his father, Alhaji Buhari.
It was gathered that all efforts by the Police to recover the dog, which will be used as evidence has been proved abortive after a more clever move by the detained owner.
It was reported that, the trader who sells female wears at the Sango market has allegedly killed and eat the dog in order to avoid being implicated.
However, appeals by friends and family for Police to grant him on bail has failed as the Northerner complaint threatened to kill the man if he's ever released on bail.
The matter has since been transferred to Eleweran and would be at court anytime soon.
