After Suffering For Weeks, President Buhari Orders Finance Ministry To Pay Super Falcons

Only God knows why it took this long! President Muhammadu Buhari has however ordered the Ministry of Finance to pay the Super Falcons of Nigeria their entitlements after claiming the trophy at the just concluded African Women Championship held in Cameroon.

The Super Falcons, who made the Nation proud after defeating host, Cameroon after a lone goal from Desire Oparanozie to win the Championship for the 8th time were forced to embark on protest on the streets of Abuja yesterday after the Nigeria Football Federation failed to pay them their allowances and bonuses.
According to source from Abuja, the issue has been resolved after Mr President ordered the Finance Ministry to pay the Falcons immediately.
