It was reported that the Indimi's family paid 12 Gold Coins which is worth N250,000 as bride price to the Buhari's family.

    It's only a poverty stricken group of people that will frown at the bride price. It's almost a standard. I'm not a moslem but I know that part of the money goes to the organizers .If Kano state government pays 50,000 for those mass marriages why should this be less. Who ever brought out this story does not mean well for Nigeria Most of the highly placed people in the north pay large sums of money.
