A Nigerian woman,Catherine Howarth has gone against all odds and broken all records after she delivered a second white baby after delivering the first white boy.The woman is believed to be the only black mother to have delivered two white blue-eyed kids.A genetic specialist had earlier said her first child,Jonah was a one in a million baby,adding that it is rare for a woman with a black background to deliver a blue-eyed baby.He calculated the odds of it happening again and the odds were less than one to a million.
With Sophia being a white,blue-eyed baby also,it seems the odds are now one to a million cause no black has being heard of giving birth to two white babies.The mother said when she had Jonah he was so white both her and her husband, Richard thought the midwife had given them the wrong child,having Sophia has been even more of a shock because we were sure it couldn't happen twice. I was stunned when I saw her blue eyes and light skin.’
Doctors were equally stunned when Sophia was born last March.
