Bride-To-Be Dies After Doctors Refuses To Treat Her Over Strike...

The strike of resident doctors (which ended yesterday) was reported to have led to the death of one Mercy Ndidiamaka Onwuka who was supposed to walk down the aisle on the 4th of November.
Mercy died in a car accident in Osun state while she was travelling from Lagos to Abuja.She was one of the four passengers who died in the bus belonging to Young Shall Grow transport was said to have tumbled several times on the expressway.According to Mercy's relatives,Mercy and three other(one being a youth corp member) were said to have died from the accident.Mercy's elder brother revealed that Mercy was rushed to the Ile-Ife Teaching Hospital but she was denied treatment due to the doctors' strike at that time.Mercy died of internal bleeding on Thursday,7th of this month and was buried on the 10th in her hometown in Imo state.
