A group of christ followers from a Pentecostal church went on a missionary visit to the Kiri-Kiri prison and could not believe their eyes seeing Evans.The group of christians requested they prayed for him and the prison warders agreed to this.Evans saw the christians with bibles and said he was desperate to have one and they gave him almost immediately and Evan was said to have clinched to it like baby and thanked the missionaries for the gift and added that it was a sign of repentance.After this,Evans reportedly went back happily to his cell.
