Over 250 children carried the bride's train as the couple walked down a major road with hundred others serving as flower girls.However,the National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) has condemned the act saying the use of students for such ceremony during school hours is against the law.The students were pupils of the Central Province Chief Minister,Sarath Ekanayaka who attended the event as a special guest.
